Multi-instrumentalist songwriter/producer Jed Becker is currently the composer and music director for the Nick Jr. series Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!, for which he has been nominated for an Emmy Award and earned an RIAA-certified Gold Record. Jed has written over 120 songs and has underscored over 60 episodes for the two series, as well as being the sound designer/sound effects editor. As music director, he’s elicited vocal performances from Cheech Marin, John Leguizamo, Rosie Perez, Hilary Duff and Price Royce.Jed produced music for numerous television spots for clients including Wendy’s, Texaco, Cellular One, MCI, CBS Sports, Travelers Insurance, Miller, Schick and Duracell. He was the music director for One Life to Live (ABC) and All My Children (ABC), and produced club legend Kid Creole’s album “Kiss Me Before the Light Changes.”
Guitarist/composer/producer Askold Buk has scored numerous episodes of the award-winning PBS documentary series Frontline, as well as 20/20 (ABC), Primetime (ABC) and In Search of America (ABC). He wrote and produced the score to the documentary film Obscene, which premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. Buk’s songs have been featured on Hollywood Heights (Nickelodeon),The Hills (MTV), P.O.V. (PBS), New York 1, and in spots for ING Bank, Ricola and Red Wing Shoes. He also wrote the music for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum website commemorating the 50th anniversary of JFK’s inauguration, and for the permanent interactive installation at the Mercy Corps’ Action Center to End World Hunger in New York City.
